And that’s exactly what you will find here. Having some fun while still learning the Word and proclaiming your faith!

I mean, who doesn’t love wearing a cute shirt that says “Why Y’all Trying to Test the Jesus in Me?” 🤣” This cool ‘on-line’ shop, Love In Faith, has everything you can think of. Short/Long Sleeve T-shirts, jean jackets, sweatshirts, journals, stickers and even water cups. I became a member so get free shipping and special offers but that’s really not necessary. My sister got me my first shirt last year and I. was. hooked. Our husbands laugh every time we get an order from there….More t-shirts than we can wear in a lifetime. But….hey, maybe when I am gone my children will make a blanket with all the cool sayings (hint, hint).

And the second ‘hobby’ my sister exposed me to (that BTW is also addictive), is Diamond Art/Dotz. We like to call it ‘dippin’ dots’ 🤣 but it is truly therapy to me. We picked up our first kit before Christmas last year. She was the first to open and was like ….oh my….these teeny, tiny little dots get stuck to this ‘pencil’ then placed in a teeny, tiny circle on this canvas, haha. She put her’s away. So….when we were together, I got mine out and tried to acquaint myself to it. Done. Hooked. Spent hours just putting these dots on a canvas that turned a pictureto life. So cool and therapeutic. I think just since then, combined, we have done over 50. We now have lots of cool accessories that make it a little easier and frames to put our favs in. I haven’t yet determined the best ‘storage’ method but need to do something. All the ones I am not framing are under the bed currently….

Here’s some of the ‘must haves’ in my opinion. All on Amazon. AND Amazon is the cheapest place to find these kits. If you put ‘christian diamond art’ in the search bar, you too will be overwhelmed LOL. Try it.

  • Rechargeable Light – Trust me, this makes it so much easier to see.
  • Vacuum pen – This enables you to ‘pick up’ the dotz without the wax. Definitely a game changer.
  • Containers for dotz. Each kit contains an average of 20 colors. It makes it easier to put the colors in these small containers and label.
  • Frames – I found the 12 x 12 frames (wood, white, black) fit most of the ones I have finished. Yes, there are other sizes but the majority work in this size frame.
  • Papers – Release Paper 15 x 15. I peel off the celophane that comes on the picture and use the smaller squares to cover the entire project. Then I complete the picture, area by area. Just an easier method for me.
  • Diamond Painting Sealer – This ‘glue’ keeps the dotz in place and seals the kit.
  • 5 D Diamond Painting Roller. I started without this because someone said they used a rolling pin. Welp, that didn’t pr0ve effective for me so ended up ordering this.

Also, here’s a cool web-site, Ecoolbuy, that has many religious based kits. If you type ‘religion’ in the search bar, you will be presented lots of good ones. ⛪️

Word Find puzzles have been around for years. No joke. I remember my grandma sitting in her chair with a book, circling words for hours. Then came the Large Print. Just passing the time in her rocking chair, looking for words. Every now and then, she would be stumped (not often though) and ask for someone else to find that ‘hard’ word. Fast forward, these books are still around but the options, themes and sizes have multplied. Kids. Teens. Adults. Large Print. Regardless, there’s more than likely, something out there that fits you. The one I have for ‘spare time’ is the Bible Word Search Devotional. 100 Days of Strength for Women. It starts with a word. A quick verse. A paragraph or two, applying the word to our thoughts and verse. Then ends with a short prayer. ❤️ this one! Some of the words within are: Hope. Strong. Worthy. Words Matter. And this particular one (below) references Psalm 23. We love anything along the water and reading this helps understand what God’s purpose is for leading us beside still waters. To rest our Soul. Psalm 23 has to be one of the most read, searched and referenced scriptures.

Bible Journaling is something I got into a few years ago. It was an adjustment though, because how many of us were told to never, I mean NEVER write or mark up the Bible? Seriously. It is such a sacred Book. But, times change and people change, making it all A-Ok, now and that brings a whole new level of color to the bible. I don’t consider myself the creative kind but have started to dabble a little bit with simple coloring in the bible. My “Inspire” Bible is great for this as there are several coloring pages within. Some pages also have lines that you can add notes or stickers or your own art. I did purchase colored pencils, Crayola Twistable crayons and a Bible Journaling kit from Amazon. I also enrolled in a Bible Journaling Class but haven’t pursued yet (besides creating a log-in 😉

Jigsaw puzzles! I have to admit not everyone in my family enjoys a good jigsaw puzzle but I can get lost for hours. I always start with the edges (always leave at least one with the inside pieces), then lay out all the rest. I did purchase a puzzle board which is awesome. I can actually store under the bed when not in use or even if I don’t finish a puzzle yet it’s just kinda in the way =). And not all my puzzles are Faith/Christian based but I have done several with my favorite being The Last Supper. During a communion service, I felt moved to purchase, put together and hang. The sermon was about being present. No one asked Jesus if they could take a plate to go. No one was pre occupied on this night before everything changed. So for me, this picture has a lot of meaning.

My husband did frame and hang in the Dining Room for me. ❤️

Another fun thing with Jigsaw puzzles is the Advent calendar that comes out in the Fall. Sams Club last year had one that was so fun. Fifty pieces per day and it was different manger scenes.

I also have an app on my iPad, Bible Jigsaw puzzles, that has a wide variety of puzzles. From Verses to Jesus, Holy, Cross, and even Virgin Mary. There is even a daily puzzle. When I don’t have the ability to work on a physical puzzle, this is a great alternative.

There’s always fun things you can do….to proclaim your Faith! ✞
