Welcome to a space created for quiet reflection, spiritual growth, and daily connection with God. Here, you’ll find encouragement to explore Bible reading with intention, pause on meaningful scriptures, and engage in study that speaks to your heart. Whether you’re beginning your journey or deepening your faith, this is a place to grow closer to God and discover His presence in the rhythm of everyday life.

Hey there! Welcome to Lord, I am here!

Isaiah 6:8 (NIV) says “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom should I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

So friend, that pretty much sums up the mission of my journey. I don’t have it all figured out but the storms of the past few years have definitely brought me closer to God. And here’s what I can tell you, based on all the information, posts, quotes, and all things social media, I am not the only one going through tough times. I’m not the only one who is intentionally leaning on God. I am not the only one doing my best to ‘love like Jesus‘. And I am certainly not the only one looking for Joy in this chaotic world. So let me share how I have survived, how I continue to show up every day blessed by his Grace and how my FAITH has grown! So here’s my question for you –

Do you want to read the Bible but don’t know where to start?

Are you looking for tips to understand the Bible?

Do you want a scripture to help you through a hardship?

Are you having trouble finding the JOY in this crazy life?

Or do you just want to learn about my personal journey?

No matter what your story is, you’re in the right place!

Life is hard. The world is broken. But knowing we have God when no one else is there, is comforting…..that’s all we need. 💯

If you are here by intention. Thank you. If you are here by ‘happen chance’, welcome! Either way, I am glad you are here.

What encouragement do you need today?

How about a Bible Study?

Esther

A deep dive into the Book of Esther. This is a story of a Jewish woman who becomes a queen and shows bravery and courage. My favorite scripture from this is “Perhaps you were born for such a time as this”. Esther 4:14

Women of the Bible Speak

This is written by Shannon Bream and tells the stories of sixteen biblical women. There are 8 sections, each calling out two women and their journeys. The study helps us reflect not only on the meaning of each individual woman’s life but on how they relate to each other and us.

Strength in the Struggle

This is a 10-lesson Bible Study workbook for women, letting go of fear and anxiety. Each lesson has a specific memory verse which can be used and applied to our lives after the study to grow closer to God instead of being weighed down with fear and anxiety.

  • Keep this Book of Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. then you will be prosperous and successful.

Who writes this stuff?!

It’s me, Bev — just a small town girl, doing my best to walk by faith, love like Jesus and always, ALWAYS find the JOY! This journey through life has taken me through the highest of highest and the lowest of lows (at least I hope) but I’m still here. And walking closer to God than I have in years.

Through Lord, I am here! I share my thoughts, ideas and resources I have used to lead me through this journey. I hope you find peace, love and most importantly JOY!

What about a good book?!

What Happens When Women Say Yes to God and Walk in Faith

Lysa Terkeurst teachs us to be obedient in our journey with God. Each chapter includes a Bible Study which add so much to understanding the scriptures.

Mostly What God Does

Written by Savannah Guthrie, this book contains six parts which focus on foundational aspects of a connection to God. It’s somewhat like a roadmap.

Prefer not to read? No worries –

Audible is a perfect option. You have options to sign up – I chose the cheaper route, with one book per month free but unlimited podcasts. I love it because it shows me the hours/time per book which I can use to determine when and where I will listen. While walking. In the car. While working out. Lots of options all while continuing to learn and grow in your relationship with God.

Bait of Satan by John Bevere is currently what I’m listening to. What a great book. All about being offended. I am learning, so much.

I belive in prayer and would love to pray for you –

Do you have a jar?!

Recently I had the opportunity to empty my jar filled with all the things that were hindering me from growing in my relationship with God and weighing me down.

This ‘jar emptying’ occurred at the Silent Retreat I recently attended….we all poured our ‘things’ at Jesus’ feet – worry, burdens, rejection, broken relationships, shame, fear, guilt, emotional trauma…and it feels amazing! So, this means I am free! Free to look forward….

Now I have room for wonderful things like Peace, Grace, Joy, Faith, Gratitude, to name some. Things that fill my heart. And things that make my soul happy. Each of these are definitely a ‘work in progress’ but I have found so much joy in digging into positive things instead of the things that were weighing me down.

What have you poured out at Jesus’ feet lately? What do you need to fill your jar with today? ❤️

Faith Based Fun –

I love to have fun and tend to steer away from anything that feels dull or uninspiring, because I truly believe laughter is good for the soul. For me, finding fun and creative ways to express my love for God makes my faith feel more personal, meaningful, and full of joy. I know I’m not alone in this—many of us have discovered that hands-on activities and even simple, everyday items can beautifully reflect our beliefs while offering encouragement and inspiration. Creative hobbies and meaningful products give us the chance to slow down, reflect on uplifting messages, and share that positivity with others in a way that feels genuine and life-giving.

Faith comes from hearing the message. And the message is heard through the word about christ.
