The past two years have been very challenging for me (and my family). It seems like multiple times throughout the day I am asking God for guidance. A sign. To speak to me. Just so I can try to understand or make the right choice. And I have to admit, most times it comes in a verse. I grab my bible and just open to a random page. And there it is! Exactly what he is saying to me or how he wants me to continue to have Faith even when nothing, and I mean NOTHING makes sense.
Here’s some examples of what I find when I seek his word. Simply the best….

Other times, when I don’t have a Bible handy, I search Google. “Show me a Bible verse about anxiety” and poof! I get a list.
- Philippians 4:6-7: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
- Psalm 55:22: Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
- Hebrews 13:6: So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”
- Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite places to shop (yes, I know there’s a ton of controversy) but I love and have purchased some of their home decor with special scriptures/readings. I have one hanging in the kitchen and reading this simple, short reminder starts my day off with a grateful heart.

I also have an app that provides a daily verse. Just one verse a day can strengthen your spirit, bring hope, and refresh your mind. I do always search for ‘free’ apps but sometimes the ‘free’ ones come with annoying ads. I use one called “Bible Verse of the Day”. It is $4.99 per year which is the cheapest I was able to find. You can set a notification time, share the verse and even include music. The Bible Version is King James, just fyi.

There are soooo many options for simple Bible verse reminders that everything is going to be alright. In due time. 🙏❤️
