Bible Journaling

Bible Journaling is something I got into a few years ago. It was an adjustment though, because how many of us were told to never, I mean NEVER write or mark up the Bible? Seriously. It is such a sacred Book. But, times change and people change, making it all A-Ok, now and that brings a whole new level of color to the bible. I don’t consider myself the creative kind but have started to dabble a little bit with simple coloring in the bible. My “Inspire” Bible is great for this as there are several coloring pages within. Some pages also have lines that you can add notes or stickers or your own art. I did purchase colored pencils, Crayola Twistable crayons and a Bible Journaling kit from Amazon. I also enrolled in a Bible Journaling Class but haven’t pursued yet (besides creating a log-in 😉

I have found the best highlighters to use are Zebra Pen Midliner dual tip. I love the two options as to highlighting words or sections.

As to pens, these .38mm fine point pens are great. I love the colors, too. I am able to write in small areas easily.

I also use washi tape as some added color and effects to pages. And to add notes not directly on the page, I use these Bible Side Notes. These note pads allow me to make notes and stick in the Bible. Just a fun way to be able to go back and se how I was thinking about specific books and verses. Blessed Be Boutique has so many options.
