Isaiah 6:8 (NIV) says Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom should I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
And folks that pretty much sums up the mission of my journey. To be a missionary. To love like Jesus. To help folks find hope and peace, joy and love, all right here.
Life is hard. The world is broken. But knowing we have God when no one else is there, is comforting…..that’s all we need. Pinky promise.

At Lord, I am here! you’ll find heart felt blog posts, you will find ideas and tried and true ways to get closer to God and ways to always find the Joy! I am truly still a work in progress but doing my best to figure it out. Heck, I am not even qualified to do this but because it’s in my heart, I know God will lead me.
You will find life events that tie to God. You will read the good. The bad. The ugly. The highs. The lows. But will also hopefully see, that every day I choose to find the joy. Even when life isn’t what I want it to be, I still know I am blessed beyond measure. Even when I can’t make sense of what is happening, I know I can lean on God to get me through. Verse after verse. Song after song. Even those random openings of the bible to see what today holds. It’s all in right there in front of me.
I do like to keep it simple because at the end of the day, everyone is going through something. #truth So let’s all….Love hard. Praise Jesus. Be Kind. And most importantly find the Joy
The POWER of PRAYER..
is often described as both deeply personal and profoundly transformative. Prayer is a communication with God…an open line where we can bring our gratitude, needs, struggles and hopes before him. I pray often. My pray rituals have increased over the past year or two, mostly for peace and direction given our family needs but also because I have come to realize all I have to be thankful for. While I know God hears my heart and knows my thoughts, my prayer time is so important and time well spent. Here’s some examples of what my praying looks like…
